A few new bits from MAC that have made themselves staples in my makeup routine recently.
My skins been feeling super soft this winter which is definitely not normally the case as I usually suffer quite badly from flaky/dry skin in the colder months. I’ve recently starting using Skoon’s double thick moisturiser (not pictured) in the evenings which has completely changed my skins condition – I’d be lost without it – it was way too thick for day wear though so I snapped up the Studio Moisture cream immediately after reading a few reviews. It’s incredibly moisturising but light enough to put on before makeup in the mornings and keep my skin feeling hydrated – I’ve had no breakouts, in fact I really feel my skin texture looks so much better than this time last month – winner winner chicken dinner! Also, I’m so into the way it smells!
I’m all about the density and creating the illusion of more/thicker lashes – I have super long lashes so length isn’t something I usually go for when looking for a new mascara. This mascara easily took over from my usual Max Factor, my lashes look way fuller and I’m loving it! Not completely sold on the packaging which you can’t completely see in my picture, the top of the bottle is bright pink which totally put me off in the beginning – but I’m so glad I tried it out because I don’t see myself using anything else in the near future!
When it comes to MAC’s lip lustre lipstick in French Twist, think a peachy pink that compliments fair skins wonderfully. It’s not too girly which was the winning factor for me – so not into girly pinks! Instead it’s got that whole “natural but better” vibe going on, with an amazing texture to boot. I use it over my MAC lipliner in whirl most of the time and am kind of obsessed with the combo right now!
